Principal's Message

Hello Wiltsey Families!
My name is Dr. Alicia Tuttle and I am proud to be the principal at Ray Wiltsey Middle School! This school year is off to a great start and we are so excited to see our students continue to grow.
I have over twenty years of educational experience. I started my career as an elementary teacher and then moved to teaching middle school, an age group I love working with. I entered administration as an elementary assistant administrator and then moved back to the middle school, becoming principal. I bring to Wiltsey the perspective of both an elementary and middle school administrator and am excited to continue working with the amazing staff, students, and families in our community.
I have enjoyed meeting families at the family meetings we have had so far this school year! I look forward to meet with more of you so we can best know what to do to support the needs of our students. The voices of the families are so important and we want you to be heard. We have quarterly SSC, ELPAC, SPED, GATE meetings, and monthly Coffee with Administration meetings. These meetings are intended for us to connect so that we are on the same page and know how we can best support our students.
This school year has been fabulous so far! We have had amazing PBIS assemblies, we have new electives, and so many after school clubs. Our sports teams are going strong, and we are playing our hearts out! We are definitely proud Wildcats!
I know that this is going to be an amazing school year! Thank you for your continued support!
Sincerely,
Alicia Tuttle, Ed.D.
